Green sea turtles die because of too much plastic in their stomachs. The Brazilian scientist Robson G. Santos of the University EspĂrito Santo has found that just 0,5 g waste in the stomach of a turtle are enough to block the digestive tract of a turtle and to lead to its painful death.
